Heliamphora is a unique pitcher plant from South America. They grow high on mountain tepuis in Venezuela which is where they gained the nickname "Sun Pitchers". They produce compact, low growing, tubular pitchers that can vary between green to red depending on the amount of sunlight they receive. They can flower anytime of the year, exhibiting white, bell shaped flowers high above their foliage.

Currently in a 3.5" pot and will be shipped potted. You will receive a plant that has 1 or more intermediate pitchers that have produced nectar spoons.

**Plants are currently larger than representative photos.

Heliamphora Care:

Heliamphora grow best with bright, indirect light or strong grow lights. These plants prefer daytime temperatures between 65–75°F with cooler nights. Humidity is essential for Heliamphora to thrive—ideally 60% or higher, and daily misting is recommended. Watering from above will help keep the pitchers topped of. The tray method can be used, but keep the level shallow at about 1/4".
