Begonia

Begonia: Begonias are well suited for windowsill growing. They need part shade/filtered sunlight (‘Iron Cross’ needs full shade). They will do fine with watering about 2 times per week or when the leaves begin to droop slightly. They like to dry a bit between watering (do not allow to sit in a tray of water). They are not picky about humidity, either, so they do not need to be misted. They can easily tolerate cool temperatures around 50°F but will do well in warmer temperatures as long as they do not exceed 80°F for a period of time.
