We had the opportunity to attend the Flytrap Frolic this year in Wilmington, NC! It is a fundraiser hosted by the Coastal Land Trust, an amazing organization that works to conserve our beautiful Carolina coastline through education and stewardship. It is a free event that is great for the whole family featuring arts/crafts, face painting, games and guides that can answer all your burning carnivorous questions. We supplied the flytraps that were sold at the entrance to the event. They were completely SOLD OUT in the first 30 minutes!

The Frolic took place in the Stanley Rehder Carnivorous Plant Garden- a public garden owned by the city of Wilmington and maintained by the Coastal Land Trust. This property is truly a treasure. If you are ever near the area, take the time to stop by and explore the various species of native Sarracenia, drosera, and flytraps.
