Howorthia 'Aristata', live succulent, potted
This is a small green rosetted succulent from southern Africa. They are relatively small (around an 5-6" across at maturity) and clump. They have distinctive green leaves with white markings throughout the rosette. The plant almost seems to have fine hairs on the leaf tips. They produce small flowers held atop a thin stem. Easy grower, great for beginners. They like bright indirect light and typical household temps. They do well in a windowsill but can be grown outside full time in Zone 11. If exposed to temps below 45F, they may experience cold damage. During the growing season water thoroughly nut allow the pot to dry in between watering.
